Practical Resources
  • Interested in volunteering? Donating your time or money? Visit Help Colorado Now - a website created in partnership with the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and the Colorado Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.
  • Map of meal distribution sites throughout the Pikes Peak region. Children 18 and under can receive a lunch (and breakfast as well at some sites) regardless if your child is enrolled in that district.
  • Colorado Springs Food Rescue is consolidating its no-cost grocery distribution sites to their facility at the former Helen Hunt Elementary School. Click here to find out more about their daily distribution this week. They are also looking for volunteers, as is Care and Share Food Bank.
  • Comcast is offering two months free of its Internet Essentials package for low-income households. Click here for more information on this program.

Academic and Cultural Resources

  • Paris Musées, a collection of 14 museums, recently has made high-resolution digital copies of 100,000 artworks freely available to the public on their collections website. Artists with works in the archive include Rembrandt, Monet, Picasso, Cézanne, and thousands of others.
