If you are interested in enrolling your child or children for the coming school year, please follow the steps below.
1. Fill out and mail in a letter of intent.
2. When we receive your LOI, we will send you notification that we have received it.
3. Thomas MacLaren's enrollment process is designed to ensure equal access to the school by students; thus the school holds a lottery every year for each class that is over-subscribed. Our lottery date this year is January 29, 2010. After this lottery date, we will enroll students on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. Once a spot has been secured for your child, we will send you an enrollment packet. It will have certain documents that will need to be returned withing two (2) weeks of your receipt of the packet. These documents include:
- student application form (double-sided), one per child
- emergency contact information, one form per family
- copy of most recent report card/transcript from current school
- copy of student’s IEP, 504, or any other special services he or she has received
Parents also need to submit the following as soon as possible.
- copy of student's immunization record
- copy of student’s birth certificate
5. When we receive your enrollment forms back within two weeks, we will email you to confirm receipt and your child's spot will be secured for the upcoming school year.
